Dr Usha Pappu is a Lecturer in Marketing at the Peter Faber Business School, ACU North Sydney. She holds a PhD in Marketing and a Postgraduate degree (with High Distinction) in Business Research Methods from the University of Queensland. She also has an MBA (with High Distinction) from the University of New England.
 
Usha was the recipient of the Australian Research Council Linkage Scholarship for her PhD. She won the ANZMAC Layton Dissertation Award for her PhD thesis. She received the Dean&rsquos commendation for academic excellence for her postgraduate research thesis. She was a valedictorian of the MBA cohort.
 
Usha&rsquos research interests include the areas of sensory marketing and marketing communications. She is interested in applying quantitative methods (experimental design, structural equation modeling) to examine consumers&rsquo physiological, emotional, and cognitive responses and modeling behavioural outcomes. Her research has been published in premier international journals such as the European Journal of Marketing.
 
Usha received Best Paper awards and Commendations for her research in marketing communications and sensory marketing. Her work on olfaction has also been published through media outlets such as InsideRetail and InsideFMCG.
 
She is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK. Usha&rsquos teaching interests include quantitative research methods, business analytics, market research, digital marketing, social media marketing and social marketing.
 
Usha reviews ad hoc for international journals such as the European Journal of Marketing and the Australasian Marketing Journal. She is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy.
