Biographical Information
Bhaskar is a Lecturer in Management at ACU's Peter Faber Business School. While completing his PhD from University of Queensland, he worked as a sessional academic for several graduate courses in health systems and global health. Prior to PhD, Bhaskar completed Master's degree in Public Health from Harvard University, USA and another Master's in Health Management from India. He has held academic position at the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) University, India for nine years where he was the course lead for graduate courses in the HRM and Organizational Behaviour in public health. Bhaskar has been awarded several prestigious fellowships, grants and awards and has 18 peer-reviewed publications.

Bhaskar is deeply interested in bringing his research expertise in these areas to address some of the contemporary HRM challenges, particularly in the health sector to address the shortages and maldistribution of workforce. His research interests include HRM systems in public health sector, attraction and retention of health workforce, managerial, individual and role effectiveness and health systems and policy research related to HRM.
