Bronwyn Bartsch has been involved in international education for over 17 years, managing offshore teaching partner relationships and activities, study abroad programs and large multi-function international offices. Bronwyn is the Director Global Engagement at ACU, where she is responsible for global engagement and associated international business, strategy and international operations for ACU.
Previous to this Bronwyn has held Director International roles at CQUniversity, and Curtin University, where she was responsible for the operational leadership across recruitment, admissions, study abroad and business enterprise.  In Bronwyn&rsquos previous roles she has been responsible for university compliance with national and international legislative obligations, and managed offshore campus relationships. She has extensive experience in Australian and offshore international education, quality management, and the development of frameworks for quality assurance of these operations.
Bronwyn believes that building strong collaborative relationships is the key to successful partnerships and quality outcomes. She was an inaugural Deputy Convenor of the IEAA Admissions and Compliance Special Interest Group, past Deputy Chair and Treasurer for the Australian Universities International Directors Forum, and is the current elected Treasurer for the International Education Association Australia, a key peak group within international higher education, recognised globally. Bronwyn was also recently appointed as National Advisor to the Education and Skills Chapter of the Australia-India Business Council. Before entering the international higher education sector, Bronwyn worked widely across finance, education and international commodity marketing enterprises.
